St. Ambrose School is JK – 8 school, with 9 classrooms, including full day kindergarten classroom. Our school population is approximately 200. We have a strong focus on faith and academic development. We work closely with our parish, St. Joseph and Immaculate Conception Parishes, to prepare for sacraments and foster a sense of spirituality. Academically, we are working on developing higher order thinking skills, beginning with developing strong literacy skills, including mathematical literacy in the early years, and continuing that focus throughout the students’ academic career. This year, in the junior grades, we will focus on those higher order thinking skills in mathematics and science.
We partner with Stratford Cygnets to offer before and after school care as well as year-round childcare.
